- I had these weekends in early 2004 when I'd walk around the empty house and just look at my moving boxes and smoke cigs in the garage. One day, to pass the hours until I could go to the bar, I pulled out my 4 track (had been recording to 8 track exclusively in those days) and did this song about a girl who lived very far away. Recorded in Joliet, IL.
